Method
A line is either proven or it is a question.
There is no third state. That single rule separates a Fakta page from a summary, and it is why the page can be trusted on the day it matters.
The rule
Every page of every document is read, including the appendix, the footnote and the fourth scan of the same letter. A sample is not data. If a file has three thousand pages, three thousand pages are read.
Each line names the file and the page it comes from, or the law, ruling or public report it was taken from. A figure without a source does not exist.
A person opens the source and compares. Sums are recalculated. Percentages are computed, not copied. Where two documents disagree, both are shown.
R is 1 only when all three are 1. Anything else is written as an open question with a page reference, never as a line.
From pile to page
Six steps, three of them human.
The AI reads, remembers and researches under our rules. People decide what goes in, check what comes out, and stay reachable.
Intake
You hand over your own papers: scans, photos, PDFs, e-mails, boxes of originals, a USB stick. We note what arrived, when, and from whom. Nothing is altered.
Originals stay yours. Copies are stored encrypted. You can ask for everything to be deleted at any time.
Transcription
Each document is transcribed in full, word for word, however many pages. Illegible passages are marked, not guessed. Account, card and reference numbers are masked in the working copy.
This is slow and it is the point. A page that was skimmed cannot be cited.
Register and memory
Every document gets a place: file, date, sender, what it is, what it settles, what it leaves open. The register is one file that grows. Nothing from last month is lost when this month's letter arrives.
Deadlines and open questions are extracted here, each with its page reference.
Research outside the file
What does the law say about this notice period? Has a court ruled on a case like this? What does the regulator require? We find it, cite it, and mark what a professional must confirm.
Research is not advice. It is the prepared position your lawyer, banker or fiduciary starts from.
Check
A person opens the sources and compares every figure, date and name on the page. Sums are recalculated. Anything that does not hold is moved to the question list.
This is where "almost right" is caught. We would rather deliver three questions than one wrong line.
One page, and reminders
You receive one page: register, deadlines, open questions. Short enough to read before a meeting, precise enough to act on, traceable to the last footnote. For ongoing engagements it is updated as papers arrive, and you are reminded before each date.
You can always ask a question about your file. A person answers, with the page reference.
What we do not do
Organise, research, check. Not advise.
A clear line keeps the page honest and keeps you with the right professional.
- No legal, tax or investment advice
- We tell you what the documents say, where, and what the public sources say about it. What to do is for your lawyer, your fiduciary, your banker. We prepare the file they will need.
- No data that is not yours
- We work from your own papers with your consent. We never take data from your bank, your employer or anyone else's clients.
- No guesses
- If a document is missing, the page says "missing". If a figure cannot be verified, it is a question. We do not fill gaps to make the page look complete.
- No software to learn
- Fakta today is a service run by two people, using leading AI models under our own rules and checks.
